Paid Opinion Poll Review: Is Paid Opinion Poll A Scam

Saturday, April 30th, 2011

Over the years, readers of my blog have depended on me to give my unvarnished opinion of online companies offering cash for surveys and/or polls. You and I both know your opinion is valuable and you should be compensated for it so it is not surprising that anyone who can think of an angle wants in on the bandwagon. The hearts and minds of the people are valuable and everyone wants a piece of the pie. Paid Opinion Poll is not exception and today we are going to learn exactly what Paid Opinion Poll’s angle is in the paid survey arena.

Paid Opinion Poll Review

At first glance, I was immediately suspicious of Paid Opinion Poll because they claim they offer up to $75 for your opinion. Many online survey panelists get the occasional survey that pays that much more even more, but few if any legitimate survey panels lead the panelist in with this type of offer.

If you are new to doing online surveys for pay, then you should know up front that the average survey that research companies are willing to pay you for would award you approximately three to five dollars. Considering the average survey takes twenty minutes to complete doing surveys can make you a nice nest egg with just a couple hours of your spare time a week if you qualify for the surveys sent to you.

After further examination, I have concluded that Paid Opinion Poll is not a legitimate online survey panel from a traditional market research company.

How Does Paid Opinion Poll Work?

The way you can make money with Paid Opinion Poll is through trying products and filling out a brief survey. After doing so, in thirty to sixty days, they will deposit some funds in your online account. When you reach a certain amount, you can then cash out to your PayPal or checking account.

Usually you have to pay a small shipping and handling fee for any product you select for testing and this is the main tell letting you know this is not a real market research company, rather they are an affiliate front offering products from companies who will pay double or triple what they are offering you if they can convince you to try their product or service.

Although you usually have to do a small survey with companies like these, in actuality there is no market research going on beyond the company wanting to get commissions larger than they are paying you for the product you choose to test.

Users of these types of sites should be aware they will have to have a credit card and be willing to use it to sign up for offers before they even have a chance to earn some of those affiliate funds Paid Opinion Poll is offering.

Is Paid Opinion Poll A Scam?

Paid Opinion Poll is a new company to me and research on the internet does not show any scam alerts yet. Since the company seems to be so new, this is not unusual and the best answer I can give you to this question now is that I am uncertain if they are a scam or not.

Other sites similar to Paid Opinion Poll such as Cash Crate have been around for a long time and many people swear by them, this one is new so we will have to wait and see. If anyone has problems getting their money from Paid Opinion Poll please let me know so I can provide details in this review.

Summary Of Paid Opinion Poll

As I said earlier, some people love these types of sites and use them all the time. I on the other hand am more conservative in my risk taking and prefer that my market research companies not require my credit card number. It is up to you to decide if Paid Opinion Poll is right for you.
