NBA Shows Us All How to Kill A Business Avenue By Banning Twitter And I'm Doing My Part to Help Them Do It

Recently the NBA decided to forbid people at basketball games from twittering about the game. As if I need yet another reason not to waste my money on such an expensive and pointless past time. Evidently the NBA has no concept of America’s highest laws, one of which is the Freedom of Speech. The first amendment covers each and every one of us in this great nation of America and we not only have a duty to uphold its mandates we also have a duty to engage in civil disobedience against anyone who would attempt to abridge those rights given to us by our forefathers. Rights given freely and it is up to us to make damn sure we keep them.

Personally I could not care less what mandate the NBA passes because I will continue to use the technology I want to communicate with my friends and discuss what I damn well please and if they don’t like it they will be deprived of my patronage, my support and bad publicity like they are getting in this article. They are quite welcome to sue me if they wish. I just don’t care. Any judge that would abridge the freedoms given to us by our highest laws holds no sway over me or any other American and it is high time we as a nation stand up and just say no to anti-republic sentiment and give these public servants the pink-slips they so richly deserve.

Jews around the world have sued and won many lawsuits against people who would slander them and their beliefs. It is time that people who believe in this republic and the laws it stands upon start fighting back and disassociating ourselves in mass from those who would attempt to limit those rights given to us. A Republic, which America is I remind you, gives each individual inalienable rights that cannot under any circumstances be limited or abridged without constitutional modification accomplished through a constitutional convention which requires at least 34 states to agree upon before one can even be held. America is not a democracy, nor are we a democratic republic like our current government would like you to believe. You do not have privileges in this country you have RIGHTS. When corporations such as the NBA try and abridge those rights they deserve every iota of backlash and bad publicity they get and I’m doing my level best to give them a handful!

Support fellow Americans by boycotting this communist leaning association which would take away our rights to unfettered communication. Twitter is a very useful tool which has proven its usefulness in disasters around the world as well as being a tool of free speech. Those of you who can’t pull yourself away from going to NBA games, buy yourself a smartphone and Twitter to your heart’s content knowing you are standing up for the freedom your forefathers fought, bled, and DIED for!

As a result of the NBA’s decision I will not be attending any of their events, purchasing any of their merchandise, supporting any of their advertisers, or any product that uses one of their players as a spokesperson. I feel this is the most effective way to show my disapproval of their unacceptable behavior toward the beliefs of our culture and society. You do what you must! We here at Augmented Living are drawing a line and standing by it. We mean no offense to any fans of the NBA but issues such as these are much more important to us as a society than mere sporting franchises.

Thank you for reading our article here at Augmented Living. I realize that many of you will not agree with me or might think my reaction is extreme, do not believe the hype. However what you’re reading is a perfectly natural reaction a reasonable person would have toward anyone who would tread upon their rights as a free man. Protesting and boycotting organizations you find offensive are two of the most effective methods of disenfranchisement.
