You might be laughing after watching this video but the fact of the matter is that the game World of Warcraft is so addicting that people exhibit the same behaviors as a junkie who is withdrawing from hardcore drugs does. Of course I act rather similar when someone gets between me and my morning coffee so go figure.
America certainly does seem to need more Warcraft Anonymous services because more and more people are becoming aware of the dangers of online gaming when it comes to people with borderline personality disorders or addictive gene traits. I’m not exactly sure why but Asians and Britons seem to be having more trouble with online game addiction than we do here in America, or is it that everyone here in America has some form of addiction and we just don’t notice as much. However you look at it addiction is harmful to your life spiritually, mentally, and physically and you should get help as soon as possible if it is affecting your life in even the slightest manner. I managed to kick the habit and I am 2 months clean now. You can do so to if you just give yourself an honest chance and get the right support and help. One of the things that helped me realize that World of Warcraft was a big waste of time was the lack of appreciation and greeting when I logged in after a three month absence due to health reasons. My guild was a place where I thought I was an accepted member of a social community but what I found was that I was a means to an ends for loot whores looking for ever better upgrades for their gear. A couple people did inquire as to my state of well-being, but the other ninety-nine percent just seen me as another raid member.
