I quit playing World of Warcraft about 2 months ago because I finally realized that the game was taking up more of my life than I had to give. I have responsibilities that the game itself was interfering so I made the decision to leave the game. There was a tear in my eye when I logged off for the last time but it was the right decision for me and my family. However I do have something important to talk about today concerning the World of Warcraft. My best friend still plays the game and he discovered a serious problem that is a major violation of the terms of service (TOS).
My friend is a PVP player. Ninety percent of what he does in the game is PVP related and he discovered a scheme that allows the Horde faction to dominate the battle grounds by means of a cheating system he discovered. The name of this website is: XRealms.
The way this cheating system works is thus; some group has formed a website where horde players can sign up on with their toon names and then log into voice chat servers where the group has alliance spies that tell the horde battleground groups where they need to be at any moment during the battle. The website says you can make between thirty and fifty thousand honor in a four to five hour period. Communications of this type is cheating and a clear violation of Blizzard Entertainment’s terms of service that each player must agree to when installing or updating the game. For those interested I did some digging on this domain and found the following information:

Further investigation revealed the people who created this domain are hiding their identity behind a company named Domains by Proxy, a company that allows you to hide your identity while creating a domain. One of those legal loopholes that allow scammers, civil criminals, and trademark and IP violators to hide their identities until the legal system gets involved.
The purpose of this article is to get the legal system involved. It’s clear from examining the xrealms website that they are intentionally violating blizzard’s terms of service as well as making money doing it. You can see that information HERE. The artwork on their homepage is clearly an image from the game World of Warcraft that has been photoshopped in some manner. Xrealms has also violated the terms of service listed on Domain by Proxy by using their services to create a domain used for violation of trademark and IP rights.
Blizzard has been contacted about this website and situation and has issued no response. GM tickets have been filed and no response was given. At the moment I and others who are concerned about this cheating issue can only assume that Blizzard no longer cares if their paying customers get a fair and balanced game experience. Considering that the company takes in well over a billion a year from those paying customers they should be giving this issue more attention than it is currently getting.
I like the layout of your blog and I’m going to do the same thing for mine. Do you have any tips? Please PM ME on yahoo @ AmandaLovesYou702
