A few months ago I would have said that Internet Explorer was the only way to go when doing online surveys. Many sites simply did not work correctly with Firefox. With the release of Firefox three however most if not all of those problems seemed to fade away. And if you do run into a site that requires Internet Explorer, there is a 99% chance that a addon for Firefox called IETab will allow you to open the page using the Internet Explorer engine inside of the Firefox browser. Your other primary tool, Roboform ( Click Here For My Entry About Roboform ) will work with either Internet Explorer or Firefox.
I always suggest using Firefox to test survey sites with because occasionally you will run into a drive by site that will try to install malware or spyware on your PC. I am personally a member of every site listed here however you never know when a site will get hacked or change its polices without telling you. Firefox stops almost all of these drive by attacks and has saved me the time and trouble of reinstalling my operating system many times.
For the work at home crowd I suggest Firefox 100%. The mods that Firefox has will greatly increase your productivity in the long run.
